The horrific abuse to our well known animals. A couple of years ago i watched a video on you tube called Meet your Meat attached to a website called peta.com. Watching these videos made me realize and feel what torcher they go through. This website turned me into a vegetarian, even though i wasn't eating meat others still were. Ive realized it would take a lot more people to stop slaughter houses. Animals would still be killed if a few people didn't eat meat. I thought to myself how could people listen to all of the animals scream for their lives only monsters kill, maybe i can protest against slaughterhouses but who would listen to me? i was only fifteen at the time.
How could anyone live with smelling dead suffering awful animal blood all day without a sorrow thought in their mind, the smell of death. There are better ways of killing animals, the free range, healthy organic farms let their animals live their lives and when their old then kill them for food. These farms that don't inject chemicals into their animals to make them more meaty, these farms are healthier for out country so why cant people open their eyes. For the cost of feeding these large animals you could easily feed more people vegetables.
Cows produce milk for the same reason that humans do, to nourish their young. In order to force the animals to continue giving milk factory farm operators typically impregnate them using artificial insemination every year. Calves are generally taken from their mothers within a day or being born, the males are destined for veal cates or barren lots where they are fattened for beef. Females are sentenced to the same awful suffering as their mothers. how it works is mother cows are hooked up several times a day to milking machines. These poor animals are often dosed with bovine growth hormone, which contributes to a painful inflammation of the udder known as "mastitis". Between thirty and fifty percent of dairy cows suffer from mastitis an extremely painful condition. Why should we support these monstrous farms if they're slowly killing us with chemicals too?
